netserver LC3 wont install windows server 2003 standard edition

hi i have a HP Netserver LC3 it was running server 2000 and i desided to upgrade to 2003 when installing after format it would reboot and would come up with a system error incompatability or something along those lines if you could give me any idea what it could be or just any help on getting server 2003 to install i would be very happy thanks

A number of people have tried installing W2003 on the Netservers. I would recommend using the ITRC Advanced search, select the Netserver forum, and search by "2003".

Hi, I installed an evaluation version of Windows Server 2003 on an LC3 (P2 450Mhz, 18.2 GB SCSI Hot-swap HD) just today. So far, everything is working OK. Before I installed it, I used the SCSI utility (crtl-a, i believe, during boot) to format and verify the hard disk. Then I ran the windows installation without having problem.
