Amiekhamhe,

On HP-UX you can run swlist -l product | grep -i adobe.

And for the rest of the other OS's I am sure there is people that have worked with them in the past in this forum.

Re: Adobe Licenses on UNIX

Hi,

to install Acrobat reader you often don't do a software install, because it's a tar file.
So you can't find it with 'swlist'.

You have to make a search with 'find' and have to try how could it be called - for ex. 'acroread', 'Acrobat', 'Adobe' or so.

Maybe you find it in directories for no-hp software like /opt.

Re: Adobe Licenses on UNIX

Thanks guys - The situation is that - Adobe has recently acquired macromedia and they need to be sure what macromedia products have been installed on my systems. Finding out the macromedia applications on Windows is not a problem but that of unix seems to be challenging. There are over 100 of these unix systems that i need to query and i am looking for the best way to find out what macromedia products have been installed on all servers. HELP ME!!!
