Apache2 Compilation Woes

Hi all:

I understand that HP have realised Apache2 but we need to compile it ourselves as we require multiple versions. I have successfully compiled using HP C/ANSI C Developers Bundle using the following options :

configure --prefix=/intranet/apache --enable-so --with-mpm=worker

To get it then to start I had to add 'AcceptMutex fcntl' to httpd.conf. All worked fine. I then compiled up PHP using :

./configure --prefix=/intranet/apache/php --enable-so --without-mysql --with-apache2=/intranet/src/httpd-2.0.36 --with-apxs2=/intranet/apache/bin/apxs

I then attempt to start Apache again and it hangs. If I edit out the LoadModule option for PHP it works okay.

Any ideas ?
