aspmx.l.google.com issue
Hi ,
We are using google-apps in our setup.
We have configured "aspmx.l.google.com" in our DSaspmx.l.google.com sendmail.cf file for sending mails from servers .
But now the issue we are facing is the ip's of aspmx.l.google.com keep on changing every now and then.
As a result of which our firewall team is saying the ip's need to be fixed or atleast range.
We raised the query , and we got a range too but that is very big almost 14000 IP's to be opened.
What is to be done in such a case ??
Any alternate solution for using google apps for sending mails.

Re: aspmx.l.google.com issue
Is there a reason that you need a Smart replay instead of letting your host deliver the mail themselves? Normally a Smart Relay is behind your firewall. This is mostly a firewall issue rather than HP-UX. If you have to use a Smart Relay and you have that much of a IP range, I'd suggest you put another system in the DMZ for you to point to, and it can relay to Google.
