fcping on 11iv2
Hi,
Has anyone been able to compile fcping (Fibre Channel Ping utility) from http://www.estorian.com/utilities.php on HP-UX 11iv2 IA64 ?
This to collect stats of latency of long distance FC links.
Brem

Re: fcping on 11iv2
Hi
a pity that fcmsutil/tdutil don't print RTT info when echoing a remote port
root@clu10nd1:/opt/fcms# tdutil /dev/td0 rls 0x030600
RLS stats of nport at nport_id 0x030600
Link Failure Count = 0
Loss of sync count = 0
Loss of signal Count = 0
Primitive Sequence protocol error = 0
Invalid Transmission word = 0
Invalid CRC count = 0
root@clu10nd1:/opt/fcms# tdutil /dev/td0 echo 0x030600
Target at nport_id 0x030600does not support the ECHO command
root@clu10nd1:/opt/fcms# tdutil /dev/td0 test 0x030600
Sent a Test frame of size 220 bytes to nport_id 0x030600
root@clu10nd1:/opt/fcms#
