How to recover the OS using OS recovery tape
Hi All,
I have taken the backup of entire OS (root VG) on tape using Ignite backup...How to recover the OS from that...Please tell me step by step procedures...

Boot from tape and let it run.
Without more details about your server I cannot say more.
The admin guide has all the steps.

Hi ..
1- Put the tape in the device tape.
2- Boot from tape
3- let it run
4- reboot
5- you are done with it
