HP VM Guest installation using Tape

Hello Team,

I have a HP Integrity Virutal Machine 4.2. I would like to take a tape image from a running guest using make_tape_recovery. 

1.) Does the HP VM support HPUX instalation via tape?

2.) Can we simply take the recovery archie from another hpux 11iv2 guest and install it using the same?

Yes, HPVM support HPUX installation via Ignite-UX tape.

HP Integrity VM Version 3.5 and above supports thecapability to boot virtual machines from a tape device, enabling both a tape and network approachto system recovery for your virtual machines.
