LAN driver version in HPUX 11.00 and 11.11

I'd like to mine our systems for the version number (and ideally, firmware version) of the installed LAN cards.

I've used fcmsutil to gather this information for our HBAs, but haven't had much luck finding an equivalent method for LAN cards.

Any suggestions?

You can use Support Tools Manager(STM)

Sorry, forgot to mention I'm looking for something that doesn't require installing additional software, and preferably can capture the data via script.

I have 100+ servers, so installing software isn't a pleasant option.

Any other ideas?

If you ignite installed on all your servers, maybe print_manifest will also give you the info.

Otherwise.

# print "selclass type lan;info;wait;infolog" | /usr/sbin/cstm

ioscan -fnC lan
will give you the driver and the the description and the device file, but will not give the firmware .
