Printing to Tray 2 or 3 HP UX
I am having the biggest problem making an HP 4100tn printer grab from tray3 (legal sized paper)
I have tried the following: lp -dprintername filename -olegal
lp -dprintername filename -otray3
lp -olegal -d printername filename
lp -otray3 -d printername filename
All of these are pulling from tray 2 which has letter sized paper.
This seems like a simple task, but for some reason it's giving me a HEADACHE!
Thanks for any help!

Re: Printing to Tray 2 or 3 HP UX
Did you configure on the printer that tray 3 is legal?
That should be sufficient.
If not, then check the model script being used by your print driver, that it accepts "legal" as an option

Re: Printing to Tray 2 or 3 HP UX
As mentioned, make sure you are using the net_ljx000 script for the new HP Laser printers. I am assuming you are connected to the printer using JetDirect and not printing to some remote printer server. If you are setup as a remote printer, none of the -o options will work unless the remote computer is another HP-UX system.
