RMS 5.1 Host Agent will not install

I am attempting to install the RSM 5.1 host agent to a HP-UX 11.23 (PA RISC) system. I have successfully installed to several other systems but cannot install to this one system. I get the following error when I start the install:

I have already got the RSM 5.0 Host Agent installed. I have tried running the /opt/Hewlett-Packard/RSMHostSW/_uninst/uninstall.bin which says it uninstalls the product, but I still get the same error. I have also installed RSM 3.0 host agent and uninstalled, but made no difference.

Any help appreciated!

I have found the resolution to this issue - there is a directory /InstallShield/Universal which holds a lot of install information from old rsm installs. Nuke all the rsm stuff under here and install works OK.

Perhaps HP could modify the uninstall script to clean up this directory when the RSM uninstall is run.
