Fedora Core 8 Not installing, Debian 4 installs OK
Hello,
I want to install FC 8 since the Compaq utilities seem to be approved for FC 8. I tried getting one of the utilities to run under Debian 4 (using alien), and failed.
The FC 8 install fails, the first error message is "can't detect agpart". It seems disk related. I get similar errors with FC 7.
I beleive I'm missing a switch, but I can't find what it is.
Can someone please help?
The server is a Proliant DL380, 1 Gb RAM, with the Smart Array Integrated Controller.
Thanks!

Re: Fedora Core 8 Not installing, Debian 4 installs OK
agpart is display related, perhaps you should try to use the text installer from fedora (if it still exists, i haven't used fedora in a long time).
