Poor disk performance on ML 350 G6
Hi, I have a fresh install of red hat enterprise linux 5.2 32bits and I'm facing very poor disk performance. I have 2 SAS 500GB disks in raid 1.
Here are the infos:
Linux cache.biodany.com.br 2.6.18-274.el5PAE #1 SMP Fri Jul 22 05:34:36 EDT 2011 i686 i686 i386 GNU/Linux
[root@cache ~]# hdparm -t /dev/cciss/c0d0
/dev/cciss/c0d0: Timing buffered disk reads: 298 MB in 3.05 seconds = 97.77 MB/secHDIO_DRIVE_CMD(null) (wait for flush complete) failed: Inappropriate ioctl for device
