160ex losing a side of the platter

Hi, I have an older HP160ex running under Legato DiskExtender v.3 under NT4. It has been working well several years, but recently I get a daily SCSI error, then it loses a side of the platter. So far, it has been the latest platter, so I suspect drive 1 is at fault. Re-inventory of the platters does help for a day. There is no need to reboot / restart anything.

Hi Lev,
I'm not sure what do you mean, but if you would install HP LTT and test drives, generate support ticket for whole library and attach it to your next reply zipped it would be great
