Compaq Proliant 5000 hardware problem
I need a recommendation, please. We are experiencing a problem where the Proliant 5000 server will not come up after a reboot. A human is needed to hit F1 to complete the reboot process. We replaced the battery to see if that would fix it. It did not. A person is still needed to hit F1 in order for the server to come up. Our next step is to replace the system I/O board. Do you believe this will fix this problem or is someone familar with this problem and has another probable or less invasive fix.
Thank you.
Thank you.

Re: Compaq Proliant 5000 hardware problem
Does the server have 2 power supplies? Both plugged in and lit up?
If you have insight manager loaded, take a look at the logs to determine what is causing the F1 issue. Could be something you can bypass in the BIOS.

You can disable it under BIOS.
