HP ML350G6 Raid 1 Failure

i have a server HP ML350G6 with 10k sas 146gb x2 configured RAID1, but now 1 of the HDD failure can i straight replace a clean HDD to the server or i need to format the OS?

you can just replaced the failed HDD
