IPMI over LAN vs. Oracle CLusterService

Oracle Clusterware is using IPMI (over LAN) for supporting member-kill escalation, node-termination and so on. How can we get this scenario to work on several DL580s in our network? Is there a straightforward guide to get IPMI working over LAN (regardless on wich MB-/ILO2-NIC???)?
Or is this unsupported by HP?
Any ideas?

According to http://www.redhat.com/docs/manuals/csgfs/Oracle_GFS-en-US/sample_cluster.html it appears that Oracle has native support for iLO.

Please note that while iLO2 supports host-based KCS-style IPMI commands, it does not support iPMI-over-LAN.
