What is the maximum disk size i can use with this ? - I am only adding disks to the internal connector.

I've found this part number - is that correct?

It is a HP 300GB U320 scsi disk. Should any U320 disk work then?

I am pretty sure you can use 300 Gb drives for onboard SCSI controller as well.
Just ML370 G1 specifications not updated when new SCSI drives launched

Of course it will work as Ultra3 and not U320 because SmartArray 5300 doesn't support U320
