nic driver problem on a proliant D380 (RH Linux 7.2)

Hi,

I'm trying to configure the nic on this server but i've got a problem with that. I've followed the intructions on ftp://ftp.compaq.com/pub/products/servers/supportsoftware/linux/common/e1000-5.0.43a-1.src.txt

but it is not working. I don't get any errors during the installation.

Any got an idea ?
