P/N
Dear sir or Madam
I want to know about the deference between the P/N that I saw on the label stick to the HP Hard disk BOX and the P/N I saw on the label stick to hard disk It is deference and if some one have a Document or link about this matter Please help me to find out this issue.

The two main number that you'll see on HP parts / boxes are the Option Part No (a sales part no) which normally ends in -B21 but I think this depends what country you are in, and the Spare Part No which normally ends in -001.
They both relate to the same item, but the Spare Part No is the one you'd use to get a part replaced by HP or a reseller.

Spare part number ends with -001
Option part number ends with -B21
Assembly part number ends with -002, -003, -004, -005
