Windows on HPE DL380 Gen 6

Hello ,

Last week I received 2 HPE G6 server from someones they didn't need them and when I checked them I found on one Windows server 2016 and the other VMWARE ESXI so I wanted to install one the seconde one Windows server also but when I formatted it and removed VMWARE and wanted to install windows server, I couldn't because of GPT thing problem.

Could anyone help me on how can I install windows server please ?

Hello @Riadm13 

Your server HDD is partitioned in GPT format. You need to clear the GPT partition and proceed with windows.

Quit the error window -> repair your computer -> Troubleshoot -> Command prompt

Follow the below steps in the command prompt

Quit the command prompt. Do the partition again and reattempt the installation.
