Compaq proliant 5500 and 1850r and TotalStorage FAStT FC-2 host bus adapter
Is the TotalStorage FAStT FC-2 host bus adapter opt pn 19k1246 supported in the compaq proliant 5500 or 1850r?
And where can i find this info on de website.
Ihave customer wich want to connect these compaq servers to IBM FastT 600 turbo end the have the problem that when the do a copy to the FastT and the disconnect on fibre cable the server will freez for a few second and will continue working.
Who can tell me if this adapter is supported in thes compaq servers and where to find this on the compaq site.
And where can i find this info on de website.

I am not sure if the server will "recognize" the FC-2 adapter, but you need to make sure it "knows" about it.
Re-run the System Configuration Utility and re-save the configuration. You can do this with your SmartStart CD or, if you do not have a SmartStart CD, you can use the diskette version of the SCU from here:

Re-run and re-save the configuration. Make sure the system "knows" about the card in that PCI slot.
