HP Netserver LC3 IDE problems

Hello,

I have a LC3 server. Recently appeared a problem with the cd-rom mounted on the IDE - at boot, the cd-rom is seen as SON] $$$$$$$ and the same in Windows and it cannot read any cd. I changed the cd-rom and the cable but the problem is the same. From device manager I reinstall the drivers for IDE/ATAPI and cd-rom but that didn't resolve anything.

Any suggestion?

The messagge is display on the post, suggest implement a clear cmos.

Clearing cmos resolved my problem. Many thanks for your replay. I am very attach to this server and I supposed that the ide controller crashed.
