Smart Array 6402 and Netware 5.0
Hello,
Trying to replace an old server and running into a snag... Performing a fresh install on a new ML570 G2 w/ a Smart Array 6402. Tried the assisted install, now doing it manually so I can see what exactly is hosed.
During the driver installation phase, HW detect finds the controller after I've specified the location of the CPQRAID.HAM. It supplies the slot number (5), so I know it sees the card. When trying to load it blows off with a bunch of nasty undefined variable errors.
Tried using an older version of the driver to no avail... Double checked the support matrix which says Netware 5.x and 6.x are supported.
Any ideas?

Re: Smart Array 6402 and Netware 5.0
I found comparable Problems with Smart Array 641 Controllers.
Netware 5.x mean Netware => 5.1 !
(Netware 5.0 is too outdatet)
I think it is _not_ possible to Install a new Server with the Old Netware 5.0 Install-CD's.
Can you verify this with a Netware 5.1 Install-CD ?
