Altiris- HP service pack for proliant, command lines to use for install, snmp configuration

Hello all,

Can someone provide me the command line for a service pack for proliant install? I download the newest version and want to sue Altiris for the delpoyment. I currently use -use_latest -use_wmi -reboot_always -s -f for proliant support pack. Also, I would to do the snmp configuration at the same time. I'm currently logging into each machine and manullay putting in my server name and admin credentials.

Thanks

Command line params for the PSP install look fine. To configure the snmp agents, run the hpsum_config.exe tool against the agent cpxxxx.exe installer in the PSP before deployment ;)

If my post was helpful please award me Kudos! or Points :)

Hi, If you want to install the psp with SNMP configuration, you have to replace -use_wmi with -use_snmp this will do the needful. You can use the same command to install in remote machines you can use -target "yourRemoteServer" Also you may use -user and -password to specify the credential needed for the installation process.
