HP SIM 5.1 Fail Over feature
Hello,
I am currently trying to make work the HP SIM 5.1 fail over feature and i got the following error when the tool that should create the automatic event handler runs:
ERROR: Target node grouping type of ´NodeGroup´ is not allowed for queryname attribute: MailAllEvent
Could not create Task - "MailAllEvent"
"MailAllEvent" is the name of the event handler which should send mail to a dedicated person.
That event handler has for targets "All Systems" for "All Events". I have used the trick (mxtask tool) to create the xml configuration file, so i guess the file is properly created.
For information: the tool execution has the same result when launched directly or by the watch dog event handler.

Re: HP SIM 5.1 Fail Over feature
I still face that problem even after reviewing completly the xml file and testing directly executing the mxtask from console mode.
Any help anyone?
