We have HDS storage connected to VM's

I’m having problems monitoring the VMs.  It appears that a component of the hitachi software is blocking WMI/WBEM calls from our monitoring tool HPSIM.  Each time we try to interact with the VM via WMI, this alert gets generated in the Application log of the server “HssoServer [000021BC]: KAPM01081-E Authentication has failed. User ID = vmadmin”.  Any thoughts how we might be able to correct this?  The vmadmin account is a local account on each VM that’s set as a local administrator.
