Hi there,
I've read it isn't possible to monitor HP Proliant hardware running VMWare ESX with MS SCOM 2007. We have HP SIM monitoring those systems now and we are wondering whether it is possible to forward HP SIM event to SCOM 2007 instead?
Is that possible and how?
Thanks in advance.

Solution
HPSIM can forward events, or you could add 2 x trap destinations into the SNMP config file on the ESX side.
But looking forward you may want to look at how SCOM would handle wbem subscriptions when / if you move to ESXi. Not tried subscribing two destinations for wbem.
