How is it that, on the same Proliant server, one temperature sensor at 32 degrees Celsius may show as "Critical," while another at the same temperature will show as "Caution?"
Also, what is the meaning of "Blowout?" It's not discussed in the online documentation.
Thanks,
- Steve Kadish

Solution
Thresholds are set based on proximity of the sensors to the heat source and the specification of the component being protected. The 2 readings may be monitoring/protecting 2 completely different components, each with their own thermal condition.
Blowout is a new one on me. From what I have been able to gather, blowout refers to the condition of running all the fans at the fastest speed to 'blow out' the heat in the case as a last attempt before going down.
