KVM adapter AF628A won't work with IP Console Switch 2x1x16x10-67-60
I have an HP console KVM/switch that has several adapters for connecting to C-7000 blades. These work fine. I searched for what adapters to connect to standalone HP servers with VGA and USB ports. When trying to use the AF628A adapters, the power light goes on , but the 'Active' light never illuminates and I get no signal to the KVM. Did I order the wrong adapter? These things didn't come with any documentation and the info available online is minimal. I need to connect the KVM to some HP DL-580 Gen 9 servers.

Re: KVM adapter AF628A won't work with IP Console Switch 2x1x16x10-67-60
I have a few different kind of IP KVM's. The older units don't appear to support the AF628A. The ones connected to the older switch show a spare part number of 396633-001, they do not have power or active LED's. The one KVM I could access quickly is a newer model, the AF620A. It is a 1x1Ex8, and the AF628A works with it.
