Pavilon a1034n modem driver needed

We recently bought a HP Pavilon a1034n PC for the house however after formatting the machine and installing windows xp PRO instead of Home edition the computer doesn't find the modem, the video card, or sound card. Can anyone help me out? I'm only going to give it a few days if not we are returning the Hp Pc back to the store. Yeah before anyone lets me know about the drive updates in the HP site I already try all of them none work. Also for the modem drive I already try the modem drives found in Agere's web site http://www.agere.com/entnet/modem_drivers.html
So as you can all see I'm in need of lots and lots of help. Thank You in advance to anyone who will help me with suggestions.

I forgot to mention that I already try that thread before and that it only leaves me to the Agere web site that I already try. But thanks for the help any one can try to help me?
