Proliant ML370 1000 Mhz Windows 2003
I updated the ROM bios to the version 4.12.
During the windows setup, just after the driver load, the machine seems frozen with the messge: setup is starting Windows
I waited also 1 hour but the installation don't go.
I tried both solution, installing Windows 2003 directly and using the Smartstart 5.5 version.
Could be a cdrom drive or cdrom problem ?
Or what else ?
Thanks a lot for an answer

Re: Proliant ML370 1000 Mhz Windows 2003
It sounds like a down-level driver is messing things up. I would try forcing the install to load newer drivers from here:

Re: Proliant ML370 1000 Mhz Windows 2003
thank you, but we try to use the smart array driver from this site, and Windows 2003 say that the driver are older than the included into Windows.
Anyway, now we are able to install Windows 2003, just changing the cdrom.
I'm not sure the problem was caused by the cd, but i'd like to understand better.
Ciao Marco
