Set order priority for NIC connections
Hi,
My Windows 2003 servers are all multihomed machine and I use the "HP Network Configuration Utility (v8.60.0)" to team the network cards. May I know is there a way to fix the priority of the NIC interface? ie when I do a "ipconfig", I can control the listing for the IP in the order that I want, without the need to physically changing the network cable. Appreciate your kind guidance in advance.
Best Regards.

Re: Set order priority for NIC connections
Hello,
Not sure if this will work; Nevertheless try it :
Go to your network properties (either through Control Panel or right-click "My Network Places" and properties).
Click on the Advanced option at the top (after file, view etc) then "Advanced Settings"
This will give you a list of connections and bindings. You should be able to move your bindings and connections accordingly.
Just make sure that the connection you want is set up with the NIC that you want...
Regards.

Hi,
I've tried that before but it didn't work.
Best Regards.
