While a large, waste-of-space white box which contains four buttons and a big, bold rendition of the thread title may be an improvement over a large, waste-of-space white box which contains four buttons and a big, bold rendition of the first 240 (or so) characters of the original posting, it's still a large, waste-of-space box which contains very little useful content. A casual observer might be able to find enough space for the buttons in the large, waste-of-space non-white box which already graces the top of the page, obviating the large, waste-of-space white box just below it (between it and the actual content). I could be just thinking wishfully again, but it seems as if someone (posessing some judgement) actually _designed_ a Web page for this stuff, instead of stacking a collection of miscellaneous gizmos and gadgets, the result might not only be more useful, it might actually load in less than a minute on an old, slow computer. You know, the way things were before the Great Lithium Upgrade? (That'd be back when I could post things normally from my VMS Alpha system.) Just a thought.
