Solution

The HP C2481A and C2482A are shipped with one 677-megabyte hard disk
drive and one 1,355-megabyte hard disk drive respectively.

Either storage system cabinet may hold two additional disk drives:

HP C2491A adds 673-megabytes capacity
HP C2492A adds 1,355-megabytes capacity

*Note*  Each disk drive uses the 10-megabyte per second differential
        SCSI interface (HP 25525A) which includes a differential
        SCSI terminator(HP 12016-80003). SCSI cables must be ordered
        seperately.

*Addressing*

To address the hard disk drives there are seven SCSI address switches
on top of the cabinet in addition to an address cable with seven
connectors that goes down one side of the cabinet.  Each connector cable
is numbered and corresponds to the respective numbered switch.

Maximum configuration for one cabinet would be three devices.
Typically the SCSI address switches are already set with a correspond-
ing address for each hard drive assembly installed.

*Reminder*

The present SCSI address limitation for each host bus adapter is seven
devices and the unique devices must be set from zero to six.

The /etc/disktab entry uses the name:

"hp97556" for the HP C2481A Model  670SX or HP C2491A Add-on drive
"hp97560" for the HP C2482A Model 1350SX or HP C2492A Add-on drive
