   Yes, so _not_ finding a crash dump from the right date-time (if you
look in the right place, and if crash dumps have not been disabled, ...)
would suggest a sudden power loss or other, similar failure, rather than
a true, controlled crash.

   A Web search for "the dog did nothing" should make it clear that
Sherlock Holmes would have been able to draw a conclusion from evidence
of this sort from such a curious incident.

   Almost any kind of analysis would be an improvement over using a text
editor on PAGEFILE.SYS.
