Possibly helpful: HELP MIME There's also a (not-well-advertised) VMS-compatible mpack kit available from at least one place: http://antinode.info/dec/sw/mpack.html Attachments must be coded appropriately to preserve non-text ("binary") data when transmitted through a medium (e-mail) which was designed to accommodate only text.
