shutdown. remove node 2 and 3. startup. With node 0 and 1 running, insert node 2 with management LAN attached. The node will start node rescue and get a clone image from the running node, then automatically reboot and join the cluster. connect all other cables to the node. then insert node 3 with management cable attached.

Hi, I have a HP 3PAR 7400 with 4 Nodes and 18 Drive Enclosures. (14S - 4L).

2 nodes became faulty (Nodes 2 and 3)and we changed them and reinstalled another 2 new nodes.

(Nodes 0 and 1 have OS version 3.1.2, but the new ones have OS version 3.1.3.)

The nodes alone are ok and Green, but as soon as I install the interconnect cablong, the interconnect port LED becomes Amber On.

it is necessary to mention that the storage system is not working, there is no data on it.

it is in new installation phase.

any idea how I could fix this issue?

Note: The whole system is also in hang state, and the old IP is not working.

Maybe you did something wrong?

With node 0 and 1 running, insert node 2 with management LAN attached. The node will start node rescue and get a clone image from the running node, then automatically reboot and join the cluster.

It will create a huge mess if you start up all 4 nodes at the same time, they probably form 2 clusters.

Hey guys, I need help, I addede node 2 with mgmt and interconnect and disk enclosure ports connected, the rescue was done and it took the correct id, then I unplugged the mgmt, connected to node 4 with interconnect and disk enclosure ports connected, and in this while the whole nodes with all cables were connected and node 3 has also got the correct id, but...
The 2 nides has not been added to the cluster, and I still see only 2 nodes (0,1), when I use shownode command. Also the port LEDs are still orange.
Somebody help me
