3PAR Remote Copy feature license

I have two storeserv 8200 installed with HPE 3PAR All inclusive Multi licenses and this license should have remote copy feature included.
showrcopy get system is not licensed for remote copy, and showlicenses doesn't show remote copy feature as well.
Please advise.

there are two types of licenses sold now

1) All-Inclusive Single-System Software -which includes all regular licenses

2) All-inclusive Multi-system software - That includes Peer Motion, Remote Copy, Peer Persistence, and Cluster Extension.

check which one you have installed according to what you have attached you have the regular license installed.

according to what you have attached all licenses in the All-inclusive Multi-system software license

are not showing.

Yes, this is my problem.

All-Inclusive Multi-System Software is installed while no Remote Copy installed. This is why I need a help.

Is this a new system maybee the 3PAR came with only the base license installed

and you have a License entitelment certificate than go to HPE licensing site and

add the multi license. also if you don't have the license certificate HPE can regenerate

it for you.

Hi,

The licenses already generated from HPE Licensing web site and added the licenses through Management Console and also through CLI (setlicense command) but nothing changed. Remote Copy is not included.

you should contact HPE support or HPE licensing site they can see how the system

was sold and can generate a license for you
