Hi,

I need the Virtual Serivce Processor for 3Par 8200 (I'm going to deploy it on VMWare) but I can't find any download link: I only managed to find the "HPE Storage Integration Pack for VMware vCenter" and "Primera & 3PAR SSMC" ovfs.

Can someone help me?

Hi all,

thank you for you help, unfortunatly I still can't find a link to download the VSP.

My HPE Software Center shows the following activations:

As you can see, the products have been activate in 2016: right now the guy who managed the installaction, activation and the contract does not work here anymore.

We have been tasked to move the infrastructure from one datacetner to another: we have already changed the 3par ip (the network from in the 2 DCs are different) and we are able to reach it via cli (ssh), we also configured the SSMC and we managed to connect it to the 3par:

but we're stuck on the "management"/VSP of the appliance itself.

...moreover, how can I find if my company still has a valid contract with HPE?

Licensed Software and Contracts are in https://myenterpriselicense.hpe.com/

If I choose "Product Family" > 3PAR, it is today the first.

You can enter the 3AR Serial here to check for a valid contract:

Hello,

in the end, my company has not a valid contract with HPE (it's ended last year and it has not been renewed).

Because we just found out there's an hardware fault on the 3par (looks like a battery problem), we are going to renew it in september and after that, If i got it correctly, I should be able to see the Service Processor listed in the download section.

Meanwhile I managed to make the old one work again, connect it to the 3par and upgrade both the 3par and SP.

I have configured the VSP 5.1.1 in ESXi 7.x and the console can be accessed. Both SP and Storeserv(8200) are in same subnet. However I am unable to discover the serial number OR reach the Storeserve via IP. ANy guidance.
