Question about adding SSD cache

Good morning, all. I am relatively new to Nimble and have a question.

I am looking into adding another SSD cache to support a pretty active database we will be moving into the system. I am thinging of cache pinning that volume.

I can not find a solid answer on if I can add another SSD drive set into my HF20H. I currently have a pair of 480GB SSD drives in slot 1 and slot 13.

Can anyone tell me if another cache can be added? Can they just be put into any open slot?

Sure. This is in the InfoSight documentation for HPE Alletra 6000, Alletra 5000, Nimble Storage.

In the Hardware Guides is the "Cache Upgrade
HPE Alletra 5010, 5030, 5050, 2120
HPE Nimble Storage HFxx, ES3" doc,

Short answer: If you have empty SSD slots, additional SSD drives can be added to expand the cache.
