Hi All,

What is the suggested approach for securing access to the Nimble storage snap-in in the vCenter management console? I would like to restrict access to all but two users and allow those two users only read-only access. We have a large team and multiple users have restricted vcenter access. I do not want these other users having access to this snap-in.

Thanks

Hello,

Appriciate this question was posted way back in 2013, however I figured it may now be a good point to answer.

With our upcoming 2.1 release (approaching overall GA in the next few weeks) it is indeed possible to tie specific RBAC access to the VMware vCenter plugin. Stay tuned for some 2.1 blog posts detailing exactly how this can be done!
