&lt;P&gt;There is no issue with mapping another drive within your 2012 file server VM.&amp;nbsp; If you need the best performance possible, I would recommend creating another drive locally and attaching it to the VM itself.&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;I'm deploying a Microsoft file server 2012 r2 with a local C: drive and want to add another drive(D:) from different vCenter..I have checked everything from networking point and its working. but my question is that is it recommended to add a mapped drive in File server for Home drive users..will there be any performance issue? or is there any other suggestion that how can I use other vCenter's Shared Storage in my new FIle server?&lt;/P&gt;</description>
