Hello All,

I have CS1000 on test configured as FC storage. I want to switch it to iSCSI. Is it necessary to reimage it for iSCSI mode? Can it work as iSCSI and FC simultaneously?

Software version is 5.0.6

Regards,

Vice

A better context on this answer.

NimbleOS 5.1 contains the code for multi-protocol, and will allow iSCSI or FC arrays to be switched into dual protocol. This is done by adding new NIC cards, and clicking a drop-down list to say "multiprotocol".

However a volume can only be connected to hosts via a single protocol - iSCSI or FC.

NimbleOS 5.1 is slated to be in Initial Production Release (aka IPR) status in Q1/Q2 CY2019.
