I'd like to check if changing the volume presentation to esxi hosts from "volume+snapshot" to "volume only" can be done online without impacts to the VM running on the or not

Hello,

yes, ACL change from "volume+snapshot" to "volume only" could cause disruption as the sessions will get re-established. I would recommend doing it in a maintenance window.
