Is it possible to create a volume as an NFS share to be used directly from any server (ex. nimble IP is 10.10.10.1 and the new volume is called nfs, \\10.10.10.1\nfs and is accessbile from any server within the network) ? If possible, how do I go about doing it?

Nimble Storage currently support block access only; which either iSCSI or FC.

If you need NFS access, please consider adding a NFS gateway (can be Windows or Linux) on top.

No, Nimble is all about block storage and so an NFS or CIFS share would need to come from a server that is itself accessing your Nimble. We used to be a NetApp shop and were accustomed to running NFS, CIFS and Fibre Channel off a single array but now that we're built on Nimble, I find I like their approach better for my data architectural style and our environment's needs. Especially for CIFS/SMB shares, I find there are advantages in running them straight off of Windows server with its very full tool-set and de facto "standards" compliance. Also, having Nimble be more of a specialist array helps keep it reliable and easy to use.
