If your application will work over one of those cheapo USB-to-serial adapter then I can't imagine it'll have a problem working off one of the front USB ports on a blade. Phil.

If you are a customer, prospective customer, VAR or HP sales or pre-sales and you have an application question on c-Class, this group or the Solution Builder group is the place to ask. Want to know if an application has been tested on BladeSystem? Want to know where to get some configuration information? Need to connect with an application vendor? Want to suggest an application for c-Class? Other? Ask here! And I would invite our Solution Builder members to jump right in if they see a question regarding their software or product. Thanks! Mike

We have an application that is protected by a dongle - fitted to a 25 pin serial port. The blades or enclosure dont have provision for this. Or do they?

I'm finding very little documentation on the proper method for configuring Microsoft Cluster Services on W2008R2 using 460G6s connected to MSA2324G2 via 3GB SAS Blade Switches. I can present my volumes to the Blades, I can write to the common volume(s), but when tring to configure MSCS. I get a message during the test phase that says "Disk bus type does not support clustering." Any information would be well received.

Dave Orwig
