MSA P2000 need help restoring original config.

I have a MSA P2000 G3 with two shelves. The first shelve servers a a vdisk with volumes for production, the second one servers for backups and has/had a global spare.

After a disk failure on shelve 1, the config looks like this:

VDISK-PROD

Disk-1.1 RAID5 300GB
Disk-1.2 AVAIL 300GB
Disk-1.3 RAID5 300GB
Disk-1.4 RAID5 300GB
Disk-1.5 RAID5 300GB
Disk-1.6 RAID5 300GB
Disk-1.7 RAID5 300GB
Disk-1.9 RAID5 300GB
Disk-1.10 RAID5 300GB
Disk-1.11 AVAIL 300GB
Disk-1.12 RAID5 300GB
Disk-2.6 RAID5 1000,2GB

I would want the two 'available' disks back in the raid5 volume, and the 1000,2 GB back as a global spare on shelve 2.

Does anyone know how to do this in a safe manner, preferably from the UI?

I would want the two 'available' disks back in the raid5 volume, and the 1000,2 GB back as a global spare on shelve 2.

Than u have to add those 2 AVAIL disk as dedicated spare to RAID5 Volume, and 1TB drive as Global Spare.

All can be done from GUI. Simply go to VDISK,than manage spares, select both drives and add them to RAID5.

Than manage global spares and select 1TB drive.

UPD

To add to the system’s global spares
1. In the Configuration View panel, right-click the system and select Provisioning > Manage Global Spares. The main
panel shows information about available disks in the system. Existing spares are labeled GLOBAL SP.
• In the Disk Sets table, the number of white slots in the Disks field shows how many spares you can add.
• In the enclosure view or list, only existing global spares and suitable available disks are selectable.
2. Select spares to to add disks as spares.
3. Click Modify Spares. If the task succeeds, the panel is updated to show which disks are now global spares.

Working with Failed Drives and Global Spares

When a failed drive rebuilds to a spare, the spare drive now becomes the new drive in the virtual
disk. At this point, the original drive slot position that failed is no longer part of the virtual disk. The
original drive now becomes a “Leftover” drive.
In order to get the original drive slot position to become part of the virtual disk again, do the following:
1. Replace the failed drive with a new drive.
2. If the drive slot is still marked as “Leftover”, use the “Clear Disk Metadata” option found in the
“Tools” submenu.
3. When the new drive is online and marked as “Available”, configure the drive as a global spare drive.
4. Fail the drive in the original global spare location by removing it from the enclosure. The RAID engine
will rebuild to the new global spare which will then become an active drive in the RAID set again.
5. Replace the drive you manually removed from the enclosure.
6. If the drive is marked as “Leftover”, clear the metadata as in step 2 above.
7. Re-configure the drive as the new global spare.
