MSA1000 VSS Hardware Driver

Does anyone know why HP developed hardware drivers for VSS for their other arrays (EVA and XP) but not for MSA1000? What's the game plan here?

Last time I checked, the MSA1000 did not have any Business Copy features. Isn't that what the hardware provider is for?

Don't know what Business Copy features are, but the VSS hardware provider enables direct copying of volume snapshots within the array instead of via a server.

Exactly my point.
The MSA1000 cannot do Snapshots, SnapClones, Split-Mirrors, ...
