Hi Ihave an issue with an MSA1500 and MSA30 enclosure..I have an MSA1500 with 4 AA988A scsi modules and 2 dual bus MSA 30s....the problem is that when I use the CLI session from the MSA1500 it shows duplicated disk numbers ..the dupluicated disks show the same box/slot number but different SCSI busses..can anyone shed any light on what could be happenning please? If you have Dual Ported SCSI Disks connected Dual Portet, every Disk have 2 connections to the Controller.

One connection from SCSI Bus 1 and one from SCSI Bus 2, that's the result of redundant Dual Portet Cabling.

So it's OK.

It appears to be cabling issue
Please refer to the manual to ensure the SCSI cabling is as per the recommendation given on page number :42

That doesn't match the setup I have......I have 4 I/O cards in the MSA1500 and 2 dual bus MSA 30s..Is there a specific cable setup for this?
