Thanks for the reply Pandu,

I understand that it is has reached end of life but if it has reached end of life then why does the latest firmware available require an entitlement? Specifically the one I am lookin for is J212P01, https://support.hpe.com/hpsc/swd/public/detail?swItemId=MTX_987beb85edd0413f81c2b706b5&swEnvOid=1113

It honestly doens't make any sense what so ever as to why an entilement is required if it has reached end of life.

@Nathan82.........there is no relation between product reached End Of Life (EOL) and firmware download.

HPE policy changed and they stopped giving firmware/drivers free of cost for people who doesn't have active or valid contract with them.

When someone buy product from HPE then they should be having valid contract with it as well. It's not only limited to hardware part but the software or driver/firmware as well.

Hope this helps!
Regards
Subhajit

If you feel this was helpful please click the KUDOS! thumb below!

***********************************************************************************
